I'm pretty experienced with lava rock slimes but if you are new to them I think this would be a great starting slime. The jelly base and bingsu help to coat the lava rocks which are on the smaller side, all factors helping to dull the pokes if that is something that scares you. It's a slime that inflates easily and it's delightfully crunchy. I don't know if my photos can do this slime justice because that purple base is infused with icy blue bingsu and glitter that hits all the colors of the rainbow. It's truly a joy to look at it in natural light. The smell may be medicinal to some of you if you associate black cherry with medicine but I love it because its a layered scent There are black cherry notes but also something with a bite. I think it's a scent that goes so well with the theme as does everything else about this slime.
Thank you so much for this thoughtful and beautifully written review of Reykjavik! We're genuinely touched by how much care and detail you put into describing your experience! It means the world to us!
We're so glad you appreciated the smaller lava rocks and how the jelly and bingsu textures help create a softer, crunchier intro to this unique slime type.
Your description of the colors and glitter absolutely made our day—we tried so hard to capture that iridescent magic of the aurora, so knowing that it shines through in natural light makes us smile. The scent can definitely lean nostalgic or 'medicinal' for some, so we appreciate your take on it as a layered and fitting match to the theme.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your kind words. We’re beyond grateful for slime lovers like you!

I don't even know where to start with this slime, because Im truly obsessed with it. I had my wedding reception in a carousel museum so I'm a sucker for themes like this. The texture of this slime is like nothing I have experienced before it's dense and bouncy in the best way. The mix of the jelly, wax, and, java chips mixed together to make such a satisfying to squeeze and stretch slime. Some of the glitters and wax make it faintly pokey but I experienced no pain and I think even tofu hands could handle it; I find it pleasant. It's a great couch slime because it doesn't spread much or get out of control but still gives clicks and pops. This slime is also very pretty, for having such a dark theme, which is amazing. The color palate is perfect in terms of what was picked for the java chips, glitters, and horse add ins (my favorite part). Saving the best part for last is the scent, I can tell they put so much work into it. It smells of wood and a light spice. It's nuanced and deep, I love it so much. Easily one of my favorite scents.
Hi Elise!
It really means a lot that Carousel of Old Regrets connected with you in such a personal way—especially with your own carousel museum memory. That’s such a beautiful full-circle moment, and we’re so honored our slime could be part of that.
We’re so happy you enjoyed the texture. The jelly, wax, and java chip combo was something we had a lot of fun experimenting with, and hearing that it feels both satisfying and comfy to play with makes us feel like we hit the right balance.
Also, we’re really glad the little details came through—the colors, the horse add-ins, and especially the scent. That one took a lot of time to get right, so hearing it landed with you really means a lot.
Thanks again for taking the time to share this. We're so grateful for your support.
Warmly,

They weren't clowning around when they made this slime, it's so plush and soft with the sand adding a gentle texture. I know it was discounted for sand fallout but after 3 plays I don't think I have noted but one or two grains of sand on my table so it was not an issue for me. I did forgo adding the provided add ins like the rainbow balls because I was in love with how poofy and soft it was after mixing the clay clown in. I find this slime incredibly relaxing to play with. Its a joy to stretch, squish, and smear across the table and sometimes a gentle pop will occur. The clay clown that came with this slime is a work of art and I felt bad squishing him but I'm sure he is happy to inhabit the slime. The smell is a sweet candy. Highly recommend, I very much enjoy their sand slimes and this base is a delight.
Hey again Elise!
Thank you so much for this kind and thoughtful review. We’re really glad to hear the sand fallout wasn’t an issue for you and that the texture felt soft, plush, and relaxing to play with—that’s exactly what we were hoping for.
It makes us so happy that you connected with the slime just as it is, even without the add-ins, and we’re especially touched by your appreciation for the clay clown. He lived a good, squishy life. Honk Honk!
Thanks again for the support—it truly means a lot.

Playing with this slime really is a sweet dream, it's such a pleasant texture. I love the multiple size of the floam and I experienced no fallout during play. The clear base is irrelidescent and full of pretty glitter. There is some slight tackiness with play easily fixed with a pinch of activator on the hand. This slime stretches without ripping and it makes the best pops. You will have some glitter transfer but that just left me feeling as pretty as the slime and it came off easily. The scent reminds me of a lightly fruity, sweet and comforting cereal. It's so pleasent. Another incredible slime from MMB.
I've been ranting and raving about this slime on the reddit forum! We love a good "new" texture. I bought 4 slimes and this was my favorite out of the bunch. Smell and texture were definitely on point!
Thank you so much Courtney!!! I knew making this new texture would be a risk, but I fell in love with it and I am so happy you did too! It may be making a return in a different form very soon!
